what do you mean " a Dark Category" like macabre?

It would encompass that, yes. It's true that there is a Macabre/Horror category, but that doesn't have the specification of having people in it, neither does Conceptual, which a lot of my themed work could go in if I didn't insist on letting people browse in categories where they will expect different sorts of portraits.

I'm having to put a lot of my Dark work in Glamour simply because it uses a lot of makeup, but which it really doesn't fit in, or Fetish, which it isn't sexual enough for. Some of it fits into the Emotive category, but a lot of it doesn't.

A small part of me is also offended that photography using non-mainstream themes is easily brushed off into the "Emotive" gallery because of the "emo"-connotations, a stereotype I've got nothing to do with.

So... I think we need a category that makes it easier for people to search for photographs that have
a.) A dark theme (horror, macabre or alternative, gothic) and
b.) people in them

..because at the moment, we don't have that and dark work is spread all over the place where it doesn't belong.
