Great idea - some of the best photographers are also models, and it certainly helps both models and photographers when they understand how they "other side" thinks!
QF is obviously a very visual person from the way she poses, and that's the most important aspect of photography - all the technical stuff is easy to learn, and doesn't really help if you don't have the "eye". I think I've taken some OK photos ( see here: [link] ) but the technical stuff boggles my mind so much, and have so little patience! lol

I really like "We can all be princes", too. Lovely shallow depth of field. I keep telling her that. And made her a sheet of how to control light yesterday.

Digital makes it dead easy, especially if you're working in the studio and not trying to balance with ambient light. Don't touch the shutter speed, if it's too dark either turn the strobes up or make the aperture number smaller, if it's too light do the opposite. There's really only one control to worry about, the rest is all composition and moving lights around.
