I can't possibly praise this enough. This is so expertly photographed! I love the haunting reference to a fairy tale we all know, but with a Sherlockian twist to it. Just genuis! When I first saw this photo, it wasn't very easy for me to forget the brilliance behind it. I just had to show it to as many people as I could. Everyone deserves to view such a masterpiece as this. Excellent use of photography, a stunning impression and very creative vision. You know that can only add up to something great. Excellent job to the both of you! Keep up with amazing work!
Oh boy. If this happened on Once Upon a Time, Snow White would be so irritated about being imitated, or would that be Regina, aka the Evil Queen? (I read in an article that the creators wanted Benedict to play Sherlock if they brought Sherlock to Storybrooke. In one pre-production scenario, Sherlock was the Sheriff of Storybrooke you know.) P.S. In my version of OUAT, Sherlock was a brilliant wizard, named Allistair, in Fairytale Land who nearly lost his life in a battle with the forces of Mordred, i.e. James Moriarty in our world. In order to live on, he gave the Dark One his heart, becoming an island from everyone in terms of emotion, which explains why doesn't understand "normal" social/emotional behavior in our world. What do you think?
I like the snow-white atmosphere, don't know if it was planned or not, but it gives the picture a very much Moriarty-like style. Specially the photo of the apple alone. Not to forget, it's a very good Sherlock cosplay.
Darkly amusing concept, and I love the angle of the shot. The apple is straight in line with your eyes, and one almost thinks you’re looking at it… until one remembers that Sherlock is dead. Brilliant.
(Made the same comment on tumblr, I know, but it's more permanent here. And you deserve double compliments anyway. )
